Ryszard Wasielewski, Eng., PhD., Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal

Lecturer in Institute for Chemical Processing of Coal in Zabrze, an expert in terms of technical methods of coal and waste processing. Member of Polish Chamber of Ecology in field of waste management, member of KIS 11 Working Group in Ministry of Economic Development, member of Technical Committee 216 for the waste case Polish Normalization Committee. Author and co-author over 200 scientific articles and papers.

John Rizzon, ESWET – European Suppliers of Waste-toEnergy Technology, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH.

He is an expert of technical issues of waste treatment. He has Mechanical and Process Engineer degree, and Dr. Ing. degree. He worked in Lurgi Lentjes as Sales and Proposal Manager for industrial and household waste treatment and in GWE as Sales Manager for waste treatment. In Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH he works as Sales and Proposal Manager for waste incineration technology. Associate Professor Misuzu Asari, speaker at the 3rd International Conference reverse Logistics – Waste

Associate Professor on Kyoto University, Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies, Member of The Japan Society of Material Cycles and Waste Management

Her current special field is the research of waste management, especially household hazardous waste and related substance flow analysis, disaster waste management and practical study in small islands. She is also involved in a campaign to raise awareness of 3R (Reduce Reuse and Recycle), and hard at the “3R and Low carbon society”- Licensed/Leadership program for development of human resources. She is involved in managing international academic conference and in promoting 3R research network. She also conducts research about campus sustainability (includes environmental management system, environmental education, and lifestyle in University) and about environmental communication. Misuzu Asari works also on local energy project – she established citizen group and corrected investment from local people and set solar power equipment on the roof of the schools. She is an author of many publications about waste management.
